Biography

2008: Suffered a broken hand prior to the start of the season which limited his play to just 24 games...Made eight starts after returning to action 3/18/08 against Nicholls State...Ended the season with a .194 batting average while making the transition to the outfield...Started three games in right field and five games as the designated hitter...Did not make and error in 08 and was a perfect 3-3 stealing bases.

2007: Appeared in 29 games for the Jags, making 11 starts... batted .224 (11-fo-49) with two home runs and eight runs batted in... scoring 10 times... had a pair of doubles... his home runs came March 25 against Louisiana-Monroe and May 6 against Florida International... was hit by pitch five times... drove in a season-high three runs against Wichita State on May 8.

Georgia Tech: Played in seven games for the Yellow Jackets during the 2006 season... started three times... totaled three hits in 10 at-bats... drove in two runs... Georgia Tech advanced to the College World Series in Omaha, Neb., but was eliminated in two games.

High School: A four-year letterwinner for coach Greg Robinson at Milton High School... helped MHS win the 2004 state championship... hit .350 with five home runs and 14 stolen bases as a senior... batted .323 as a junior and hit .310 as a sophomore... also lettered two years in football... played summer ball with the East Cobb Cardinals... rated as the No. 41 prospect in the state of Georgia as a senior
