Biography

2017-18: Second Team all-Sun Belt Conference… Second Team NABC all-District 24… Started 25 of 32 games… Averaged team-high 18.7 points per game, and also led team in field goals (178), 3-pointers (88), free throws (153) and steals (30)… Set new school record with five 30-point games, including career-high 38 at UL Monroe (1/27), with 26 of those points coming after halftime… Points total of 597 is tied for sixth in school history, and his 88 treys are fifth… Scoring average ranked fourth in the Sun Belt, and was the highest by a USA player since 2012-13… Finished fourth in 3-pointers per game (2.8), fifth in 3-point percentage (.370) and ninth in free-throw percentage (.777)… Averaged 20.2 ppg in league games, the second-best average in the SBC… Points total is tied for third in USA history by a junior, and he ranked second in 3s and third in free throws made by a junior as well… Reached double-digit points 29 times in 32 games, including run of 19 in a row… Became first Jaguar since 1984 to score 30 points in back-to-back games, pouring in 34 at Tulane (12/21) and 31 vs. Georgia State (12/29)… Made seven triples in a game twice – vs. Stetson (11/22) and at ULM – to tie for eighth in school history… Scored 13 of his 26 points vs. Appalachian State (1/20) at the free-throw line… Recorded 21 points in the first half and finished with 32 on 12-of-22 shooting vs. Arkansas State (2/10)…  Arkansas State game was first of three straight games with at least 21 points, tallying 24 at Appalachian State (2/15) and 21 at Coastal Carolina (2/17).

Junior College: Attended Southwest Mississippi Community College… Averaged 22.0 points, 5.6 rebounds and 1.3 assists per game in his sophomore season… Scoring average ranked in a tie for ninth in NJCAA Division I… Shot 49.2 percent from the floor, 38.8 percent from 3-point territory and converted 74.6 percent at the free-throw line to earn NJCAA All-Region 23 and Second Team All-America honors… As a freshman, put up 9.1 points and 3.1 rebounds per contest… Helped the Bears win their first state title since 1962-63, and earned MVP honors in the Mississippi junior college state tournament… Named to Dean’s List… Tied school record for 3-pointers in a game (8).

High School: Graduate of St. Martin High School… Also attended Biloxi High School as a freshman and sophomore… Earned three varsity letters each in track and basketball… Led St. Martin to two district championships… Three-time South Mississippi All-Star… Averaged 17.4 points and 5.2 rebounds as a senior… Named 6A all-state honorable mention and to the Biloxi Sun Herald’s All-South Mississippi team… Led the Yellow Jackets to a 23-9 record and an appearance in the state quarterfinals.
