2008 (Freshman):  Appeared in four games and made one start ¨ Went 0-1 and pitched 10.0 innings ¨ Made first career start vs. Nicholls State (3/18) ¨ Worked a career-long 4.0 innings and struck out a career-high three hitters in that game, but took the loss as USA fell 5-3 ¨ Worked 3.0 innings of relief vs. Jackson State (2/26) in first appearance of season ¨ Allowed one run and recorded two strikeouts as the Jags won 18-6 ¨ His best outing came vs. Jackson State (2/26) as he threw 3.0 innings and allowed just one earned run.

High School:  Lettered three years at Mary G. Montgomery High School in Semmes, Ala. ¨ Played second base and pitched for the Vikings.

Personal:  Born June 13, 1989 ¨ Oldest of three children to Larry and Annette Grissett ¨ Full name is Luke Campbell Grissett ¨ Has a younger brother, Dalton, and a younger sister, Morgan ¨ Nickname is Smiles ¨ His father is the person who has most greatly influenced his life and also the person he most admires.
