2009 (Junior): Went 3-3 with six saves and a 3.74 ERA in 21 appearances • Struck out 54 batters in 67.1 innings of work on the season • Began season as a starter and worked in that role in seven of first eight appearances • Allowed one run in 6.2 innings of Jags' win over No. 6 Ole Miss (2/22) • Got first win of season after working 6.2 innings and allowing one earned run in start against Iowa (2/28) • Notched third win of season by allowing two earned runs in seven innings against Arkansas State (3/28) • Converted to closer on April 7 and notched his first save with 2.2 scoreless innings vs. Auburn (4/14) • Saved all three games of Jags' sweep over Louisiana-Lafayette (4/17-19) • Named SBC Pitcher of the Week (4/20) • Worked six innings of relief and allowed two earned runs against Middle Tennessee (4/26) • Saved both games of Jags' rain-shortened series at Louisiana-Monroe (5/1-2) • Posted a 2.33 ERA and 25 strikeouts in 27 innings after converting to closer.
2008 (Sophomore): Posted a 4-5 record with a 6.42 ERA in 19 games • Made nine starts • Struck out 48 batters in 68.2 innings of work • Worked five innings and allowed two earned runs in first start vs. Kentucky (2/24) • Struggled through first five starts, but bounced back to post a 3-1 record with a 4.31 ERA over final 14 appearances • Best start of season came against Troy (5/15) when he went eight shutout innings en route to a 7-0 Jag win • Also struck out a career-high seven batters in that game • Worked 4.1 innings of relief and allowed one run vs. Mississippi State (3/26) • Went three innings in relief, recorded four strikeouts and did not allow an earned run vs. Florida Atlantic (4/5) • Picked up first win of season with 5.2 innings in start vs. Western Kentucky (3/14) • Scattered 10 hits and allowed four runs in 9-6 Jag victory • Earned a win with 2.2 innings of relief in 4-3 win over Auburn (4/1) • Allowed one earned run in three innings vs. Ole Miss (4/8) • Picked up third win of season in start vs. Louisiana-Lafayette (4/19) • Worked seven innings and allowed two runs on five hits while striking out five in that game • Worked two innings of perfect relief vs. Alabama (4/23) in 10-9 USA win • Worked 6.1 innings of relief vs. Louisiana-Monroe (5/3) in longest relief outing of career • In six appearances against schools from the SEC, worked 17.2 innings and allowed six earned runs for a 3.06 ERA • Struck out 11 batters against just three walks in those games.
2007 (Freshman): Appeared in 14 games, eight of which were starts • Went 4-3 with a 4.84 ERA • Threw 61.1 innings and recorded 39 strikeouts • In eight starts, went 4-2 with a 3.62 ERA • Went at least five innings in seven of eight starts • Got first collegiate win with five innings vs. Siena (3/1) in first start of season • Allowed one earned run on five hits and struck out six batters in that game • In second start, did not allow any earned runs and struck out five batters in six innings vs. Nicholls State (3/6), but got a no-decision in 4-2 USA win • Picked up the win with 8.1 innings and six strikeouts in start at Alabama (4/18) • Allowed two earned runs on six hits in that game • Helped USA to its first win in Tuscaloosa in seven years in front of 4,279 spectators • Collected one of two complete-game shutouts for USA with 11-0 win vs. Florida International (5/5) • Allowed seven hits and struck out two in that game • Threw season-long six innings of relief at Florida Atlantic (4/26).
