Biography

2007: Appeared in 13 games, starting five... posted a 3-1 record with a 4.67 ERA... fanned 28 batters in 34.2 innings...his best appearance of the season came when the Jags needed it most -- competing for a spot in the conference tournament on the final weekend of the season... allowed one run and struck out six in a complete-game win over Troy.... also allowed one run over seven innings in getting a win over the Trojans in the league tourney.

 

2006: Used primarily as a reliever but got three starts in mid-week situations... pitched 27.2 innings, fanning 22... posted an ERA of 5.86... threw a then-career-high five innings in his second start of the season, April 4 against Nicholls State... struck out six Colonels.

 

Junior College: Lettered two years (2004-05) at Bevill State-Fayette... posted a 3.08 ERA over 52.2 innings pitched for the Bears.

 

High School: Lettered four seasons at Faith Academy... was an all-state selection in 2002 and 2003... named most valuable player of the state tournament in 2000... A first-team Deadly Diamond selection as a senior... helped the Rams to state titles in 2000, 2001  and 2003 and to the state champinship game in 2002


Personal: Born August 12th, 1985... full name is Kevin Robert Nabors... has an older sister, Missy, and a younger sister, Allison... favorite athletes are Roger Clemons and Curt Schilling.
