2012 (Junior):  Named second-team all-Sun Belt Conference … Went 7-4 with a 5.23 ERA in 14 starts … Led South Alabama in strikeouts (69) and innings pitched (82.2) … Finished 6-3 with a 5.50 ERA in nine Sun Belt games … Struck out 47 batters in 55 2/3 innings in league contests … Recorded six quality starts … Tossed his first career complete game against FIU (April 29), allowing two runs on eight hits in nine innings … Named Sun Belt Conference Pitcher of the Week (April 30) ... Struck out a career-high nine batters in his first career start against No. 32 College of Charleston (Feb. 17) … Matched a career high in strikeouts against Western Kentucky (May 13), and allowed just one run on four hits in seven innings of that contest … Earned his first career win against Samford (Feb. 24) … Allowed four runs on six hits with three strikeouts in five innings of that game ... Recorded his first career SBC win at Louisiana at Monroe (March 25), where he allowed just one run on six hits in 8 2/3 innings while striking out eight batters.

Junior college:  Lettered two years at Daytona State Junior College in Daytona, Fla. ...
