2011 (Junior):  Went 1-0 with one save in 10 appearances … Earned first career win against Auburn (5/17) after allowing just one run on three hits with three strikeouts in five innings pitched … Recorded first career save (4/12) against Nicholls State … Did not allow a run in two appearances … Allowed two hits or fewer in eight of 10 appearances.

2010 (Sophomore):  Made 18 appearances with five starts ... Recorded 26 strikeouts while issuing 18 walks in 34 innings ... Struck out a career-high seven batters in 6 1/3 innings at Memphis (3/17) ... Did not allow a run in three of his 18 appearances ... Recorded at least one strikeout in 12 of his 18 appearances and struck out multiple batters in seven appearances ... Made his first career start at Alabama (2/20) ...Worked two scoreless innings and allowed just one hit against Florida Atlantic (5/7) ... Allowed one run on four hits and struck out three in 2 1/3 innings against Southern Miss (3/30) ... Pitched two innings in relief at Southeastern Louisiana, allowing one run on three hits while striking out two (3/24).

2009 (Freshman):  Made 19 appearances, all in relief ... Worked a total of 26 1/3 innings and struck out 22 ... Allowed one hit in two shutout innings against Liberty in first collegiate outing (2/21) ... Struck out three and allowed one run in 3 1/3 innings of relief against Mississippi State (2/24) ... Worked 1 1/3 hitless innings against Vanderbilt (3/17) ... Struck out two in a perfect inning against New Orleans (3/21) ... Came back next day and worked 2/3 scoreless innings of relief against New Orleans (3/22) ... Allowed one hit in 2/3 shutout innings against Arkansas State (3/29) ... Struck out three and allowed one run in 3 1/3 innings of relief against Nicholls State (4/7) ... Made longest outing of career with 4 2/3 innings of relief against Auburn (4/15) ... Allowed one run despite not allowing a hit in 1 2/3 innings of relief against Southern Miss (5/12) ... Retired all four batters faced, including three strikeouts against Troy (5/20).

High School:  Pitched and played outfield for coach Tommy Goodson at Prattville High School in Prattville, Ala. ... Four-year letterman in baseball and football ... Compiled an 8-4 record with a 3.95 ERA in 73.0 innings as a senior ... Threw seven complete games and issued 36 walks while striking out 106 batters ... Hit .308 (8-for-26) and added 8 RBI while helping the Lions to a 31-16 record, a Class 6A Area 5 title and the state semifinals ... As a junior in 2007, struck out 14 batters on his way to a no-hitter with an error allowing the only base runner ... Posted a 4-1 record with a 3.78 ERA and hit .324 (12-for-37) to help Prattville to the state semifinals with a 35-8 record ... Won back-to-back state championships in football junior and senior years ... Recruited by Alabama, Troy and Alabama Southern.
