2010 (Junior):  Appeared in 18 games with 14 starts • Went 5-4 with one save and a 4.89 ERA in 81 innings pitched • Recorded 64 strikeouts and issued 26 walks • Posted eight quality starts on the season • Struck out a career-high eight batters at Arkansas State (4/24) • Tossed six shutout innings against Jackson State to earn his first career win (2/19) • Pitched one inning of scoreless relief against Tennessee Tech to earn his first career save (3/9) • Allowed just three runs on four hits in six innings while striking out six to lead the Jags to a sweep of UALR (3/13) • Pitched 8 2/3 innings against New Orleans (4/3), marking his longest career start • Allowed four runs on six hits and struck out three UNO batters • Allowed two earned runs or fewer in four starts.


Junior College (Meridian CC):  Played two years for coach Chris Rose at Meridian Community College • As a sophomore, posted a 5-3 record with a 5.53 ERA in 55.1 innings over 10 appearances • Struck out 47 and walked just 13 • As a freshman, pitched 17.1 innings over eight games • Struck out 13 and recorded a 4-4 record.

2007 (Southern Miss):  Sat out season as a non-medical redshirt.

High School:  Pitched for coaches Stacy Hester and Chris Chism at New Hope High School in Columbus, Miss. • Helped team to state championship in 2003 • Posted an 8-3 record with a 1.12 ERA in 56.1 innings as a senior, and was named all-state for a second consecutive year • A two-time Louisville Slugger Preseason All-American • Posted a career record of 33-5 with 302 strikeouts and a 1.20 ERA.
