Biography

2007: Made two appearances in relief -- Feb. 21 vs. Jackson State and April 17 vs. Nicholls State... pitched one inning in each games... did not allow a run and surrendered only one hit... struck out a batter in the Jackson State game.

 

2006: Redshirted due to elbow surgery.

 

Junior College: Lettered as a sophomore at Faulkner State in Bay Minette, Ala.,... posted a 5-5 record with an ERA of 4.95 for the SunChiefs... started his career at Pensacola Junior College... went 2-1 with a 5.05 ERA... his team took sixth place in the 2004 National Junior College Athletic Association World Series in Grand Junction, Colo.

 

High School: Lettered two years in football and four years in baseball at Theodore High School... a three-time all-area selection for the Bobcats... named to the Mobile Press-Register's Deadly Diamond first team in 2002... posted a career record of 17-5 with a 1.61 ERA... drafted by the Seattle Mariners out of high school.
