Biography

2007: One of seven South Alabama players to bat over .300, finishing the season at .356... his average was second-highest on the team... saw action in 55 of USA’s 57 games, starting 52... collected 74 hits in 208 at-bats... had 23 multiple-hit games, the second most on the team... had a 10-game hitting streak during the season... drove in multiple runs 12 times, including five against UALR (March 31)... led USA and the Sun Belt Conference in triples with six ...also doubled seven times and homered twice... swiped 11 bases, while being caught only three times.

 

Junior College: Lettered one year for Chipola Junior College in Marianna, Fla... selected as an all-state and an all-conference performer for the Indians... batted .369 with four home runs and 47 RBIs... stole 27 bases.

 

UAB: Played his freshman seasons for the Blazers in Birmingham... led the team in batting average at .341... collected nine doubles, three triples and a home run on his way to becoming the Conference USA Freshman of the Year... also led the club in runs scored with 49.

 

High School: Named team captain for Satsuma his senior year... helped the Gators win a Class 6A region championship... named team offensive MVP as a junior and a senior ... received all-state honors as a senior... the school's all-time leader in stolen bases and runs... also holds the single-season record for hits.
