2005: Was the Jags' primary right-handed option out of the bullpen...Appeared in 29 games as a sophomore and totaled 61.1 innings...Struck out 56 while walking only 21...Compiled 5 saves.

2004: Saw limited action in eight games... Was a starter in two of those eight outings...In 15 innings of work he struck out 18 batters...Was 0-2 on the year.

St. Paul's High School: Participated in three sports while attending St. Paul's High in Mobile, Ala...Lettered three season in baseball, once in football and basketball...Honorable mention all-state performer as a junior after recording a 10-2 mark and a 1.89 ERA...As a senior, he went 8-3 with a 1.35 ERA and 105 strikeouts...Member of the 2003 Mobile Register Deadly Diamond...Led Saints to the Class 5A title as a senior...Captured MVP honors at the Hank Aaron Classic in 2003.
