2018-19 (at Howard): Third Team all-MEAC… Started all 30 games he appeared in… Averaged 14.3 points and 5.1 rebounds per game… Ranked third on the team in scoring and rebounding, second in steals (22) and led in field-goal percentage (.483)… Hit double digits in points 23 times with five 20-point outings… Recorded season-high 27 points in season opener vs. Washington Adventist (11/7), earning MEAC Player of the Week honors… Shot 9 for 13 from the field for 24 points vs. American (12/8)… Dished out season-best six assists to go along with 15 points vs. Delaware State (1/26)… Recorded only double-double of the season at Savannah State (3/2) with 14 points and career-high 10 rebounds.

2016-17 (at Rice): Appeared in 32 games… Averaged 5.8 points and 3.2 rebounds… Shot 53.0% from the floor, best on the team (min. 2 FG/game)… Put up seven games with 10 points or more, including season-best 13 vs. UTEP (2/18)… Just missed double-double with 11 points and season-high nine rebounds vs. Delaware State (11/23)… Credited with four steals in a game twice, at Louisiana Tech (1/19) and James Madison (11/13).

High School: Graduate of Byrd High School… Named Shreveport Player of the Year and all-state three times… Averaged 23 points, 14 rebounds and 7.5 assists in his senior season, leading the Yellow Jackets to a 27-6 record overall and 9-1 in the district… Played for Rusty Johnson… Led team to 5A Louisiana state semifinals… Finished career as Byrd’s career leader in points (2,176)… Voted First Team all-District 1-5A on three occasions, including MVP honor as a senior… Averaged 22.8 points, 11.3 rebounds and 7.5 assists in junior campaign, and 25.0 points, 8.0 rebounds, 4.0 assists and 2.0 steals per outing as a sophomore… Led BHS to 24-6 record as a junior and 22.8 as a sophomore.
