2010 (Junior):  Went 4-2 with one save in 22 appearances • Struck out 22 batters in 34.2 innings pitched •  Did not allow a run in 12 of his 22 appearances • Recorded his first career save against Louisiana-Lafayette (3/20) • Did not allow a run in five consecutive SBC games, while allowing just three hits during that 6 2/3-inning span • Recorded multiple strikeouts in six appearances • Went 3-1 while posting a 0.56 ERA in SBC games • Allowed just one run and nine hits in 16 innings of SBC contests, while recording 11 strikeouts • Struck out a career-high five batters against Louisiana-Monroe (4/17) in 3 1/3 innings of one-hit relief • Recorded back-to-back scoreless outings against Florida Atlantic (5/8-5/9), allowing just one hit in 2 2/3 innings.

Junior College (Wallace State CC):  Pitched two years for coach Randy Putman at Wallace State-Hanceville Community College • As a sophomore, posted a 3-1 record with five saves and a 2.05 ERA • Struck out 25 with just eight walks in 30.2 innings of work • Did not allow a run in 14 of 20 appearances, all out of the bullpen • Held opposing hitters to a .223 batting average • As a freshman, made first nine appearances as a starter before moving to eight of last nine outings • Went 5-2 with a 3.84 ERA and 40 strikeouts in 61 innings • Posted a 2.31 ERA in eight relief appearances.

High School:  Played four years of baseball, three years of basketball and one year of football for Pinson Valley High School in Pinson, Ala.
