Fall 2008: Made four appearances and posted a 3.21 ERA in 14.0 innings pitched ¨ Struck out 12 and issued just three walks ¨ Ranked third on team behind Greg Johnson (.929) and Matt Jackson (1.05) with a 1.07 WHIP ¨ Allowed just one hit and struck out four in 3.0 innings in first intrasquad game (9/19) ¨ Allowed two runs on three hits in 3.0 innings in game two of Red and Blue World Series (10/5) ¨ Started game five (10/11) and allowed three runs in 5.0 innings of work, but did not factor in the decision ¨ In second game of doubleheader vs. Meridian (10/18), started and picked up win with just one hit allowed in 3.0 innings ¨ Struck out four and did not issue a walk.
2008 (Junior): Appeared in 16 games and made 12 starts ¨ Posted a 3-3 record with a 6.35 ERA in 78.0 innings of work ¨ Second on team in innings pitched ¨ Went at least 6.0 innings in seven of 12 starts ¨ Took a tough-luck loss when he went 7.0 innings and allowed just two earned runs vs. Southern Miss (2/27) ¨ Got first win of season when he went 5.0 innings, allowed one earned run and struck out five vs. Nicholls State (3/11) ¨ Threw a complete game and struck out a season-high nine batters in 10-4 win vs. Arkansas State (3/29) ¨ Picked up third win of season in 4-3 victory vs. UALR (4/13) ¨ Went 8.0 innings, allowed three runs and recorded seven strikeouts without issuing a walk in that game.
2007 (Sophomore): Made 12 appearances, all starts ¨ Worked his way into a weekend starter position ¨ Went at least 5.0 innings in nine of first 10 starts ¨ Allowed 45 earned runs over 57.2 innings for an ERA of 7.02 ¨ Recorded 36 strikeouts ¨ After taking the loss in 0.2 innings vs. Auburn (2/25), came back the next day and got first-career win by allowing three runs in 5.0 innings vs. Siena (2/26) ¨ Got second win in next start with 5.1 innings vs. Connecticut (3/4) ¨ Allowed one run on five hits in that outing, and Jags held on to win 3-2 over the Huskies ¨ Took a tough loss with 5.0 innings and two earned runs allowed vs. Louisiana-Monroe (3/24) ¨ Picked up wins in consecutive starts late in the season ¨ Went 7.0 innings and recorded six strikeouts in 11-5 win over Middle Tennessee (4/22) ¨ Recorded a career-best 10 strikeouts and allowed three earned runs in 6.0 innings in 11-9 win against Florida Atlantic (4/28).
Junior College (Faulkner State CC): Lettered one season for Faulkner State Community College in Bay Minette, Ala. ¨ Helped the Sky Chiefs to a fourth-place finish in their conference ¨ Posted a 5-5 record with a 2.80 ERA in freshman season ¨ Notched 50 strikeouts over 60.1 innings of work ¨ Went 4.1 shutout innings vs. Delgado (2/22) ¨ Picked up win with 7.0 innings and one run allowed on three hits vs. Young Harris (3/1) ¨ Against Baton Rouge (3/18), picked up win with 6.0 shutout innings in 2-0 Sky Chiefs win ¨ Allowed just one hit and struck out eight batters in 7.0 innings vs. Bishop State (4/4) ¨ Went 7.1 innings and allowed just one earned run with eight strikeouts vs. Enterprise-Ozark (4/18) ¨ Holds school record with 1.3 walks per nine innings.
High School: Played four years of baseball at Baker High School in Mobile, Ala. ¨ Helped the Hornets to a state championship in 2005 ¨ Named the Most Valuable Player in Class 6A baseball that season.
