Coach Kittrell on Brad Hammac - "Brad Hammac showed me he's improved in his throwing. He has outstanding arm strength and good leadership qualities behind the plate. He'll be a solid backup behind David Doss. He still needs to improve with the bat."

2009 (Sophomore):  Saw action in 12 games, four of which were starts • Hit .111 (2-for-18) with one double, one run and one RBI • Hit RBI double and scored a run against Florida Atlantic (4/4) • Also saw action on the mound in Jags' win over Southeastern Louisiana (3/25) • Struck out two batters in a scoreless seventh inning, but ran into trouble after getting one out in eighth • Finished with three runs allowed on two hits and two walks with two strikeouts in 1.1 innings of 13-11 win.

2008 (Freshman):  Appeared in 14 games and made five starts • Served as the second catcher for USA behind David Doss • Hit .208 (5-for-24) with two doubles and a home run • Home run came against Jackson State (4/22) • Also drove in a career-high three runs on the same night • Fielded .982 in 55 chances, all behind the plate.

High School:  Lettered four years at Pace High School in Pace, Fla. • Played catcher for the Patriots, but also saw time at third base, first base and pitcher.

Personal:  Born Aug. 23, 1989 • Son of Kelly and D.J. Hammac • Full name is Paul Bradford Hammac • Undecided major.
