Biography

2010: Sat out season as a non-medical redshirt.

Junior College (Central Arizona CC):  Pitched in 14 games, 13 of which were starts, and posted a 5-2 record with a 3.47 ERA • Struck out 66 batters over 80.1 innings of work • Threw two complete games and one shutout • Allowed just two home runs on the season.

Junior College (Treasure Valley CC):  Played one season for coach Rick Baumann at Treasure Valley Community College in Ontario, Ore. • Threw 60 innings over 13 appearances, posting a 5-4 record with one save and a 2.40 ERA.

High School:  Pitched four years for coach Mike Chewpoy at Lambrick Park High School in Victoria, British Columbia.

Personal:  Born July 7, 1989 in New Westminister, British Columbia • First of two children to Al and Bev Jung • Has a younger sister, Amanda • Majoring in math.
