• Hosted first-round NCAA game in 2015 in front of record crowd of 1,173
• Served as host site for Sun Belt Tournament six times, most recently in 2014
• 2014 team won a school-record 11 times at The Cage, and 1997 squad went 9-0 at home
• South Alabama defeated No. 1 Florida State 1-0 on Sept. 5, 2016

• New grandstand seating (2014)
• New press box and bench shelters (2014)
• New grand entryway with beautiful deck and picnic area (2015)
• Installation of a high-definition three camera system for live streaming of all home matches (2016)
• New scoreboard (2017)
