MOBILE, Ala. ? South Alabama head baseball coach Steve Kittrell announced a one-day select camp October 22 at Stanky Field. The camp titled the Jaguar Select 60 Camp, will take place from 1-6 p.m. and is for all high school aged players.
The camp will provide a great opportunity for high school players to be seen and evaluated by coaches from South Alabama. This year’s camp will provide instruction at every position and will culminate with a scrimmage to end the day.
The purpose will be to not only give USA coaches a chance to see players, but to also provide players with insight into what college coaches are looking for when scouting high school players.
All camp activities are to take place at USA’s Stanky Field and the cost is $75 per player.
