- South Alabama returns to Hancock Whitney Stadium on Saturday to host ULM for Homecoming and its Sun Belt Conference opener. The Jaguars are 2-0 at home this season and have won four straight meetings with the Warhawks.
- South Alabama opens Sun Belt play after closing its nonconference schedule with a 45-21 loss at Kentucky. The Jaguars have won both games at Hancock Whitney Stadium, scoring 39 points against Southeastern Louisiana and 41 against Ohio.
- South Alabama has scored on its opening possession in three of four games, including touchdowns in both home contests.
- PJ Martin, Keenan Phillips and Trae'von Dunbar have combined for 653 rushing yards and eight touchdowns through four games. The Jaguars rushed for a season-high 266 yards and four touchdowns against Ohio.
- South Alabama ranks fifth nationally in time of possession at 34:40 per game. The Jaguars have held the possession advantage in three of their four games.

ABOUT ULM
