MOBILE, Ala. – South Alabama soccer will travel to face Ole Miss at 7 p.m. on Thursday at Ole Miss Soccer Stadium in Oxford, Miss.

SERIES HISTORY:
South Alabama is 3-6 overall against Ole Miss, with their last match a 2-4 deficit on Sept. 2, 2021, at The Cage. The Rebels boast a two-match winning streak over the Jags.

SCOUTING THE JAGS (1-3-1):

• South Alabama faces Ole Miss after a 3-0 deficit to the sixth-ranked Alabama Crimson Tide on Sunday. The Jags tallied seven shots, the second-most of the season.
• Mackenzie Smith recorded a career-best 12 saves against the Crimson Tide, the most in a match since 2016. Smith ranks in the national top-10 in saves per game (8.00) and total saves (32).
• The Jags rank in the national top-20 in saves per game (7.00).

SCOUTING THE REBELS (5-1-0):

• Ole Miss hosts South after a 2-0 victory over Sun Belt foe ULM on Sunday. The Rebels also boast victories over Murray State, Louisiana, College of Charleston and UAB.
• Teaghan Irvin and Becca Skinner lead the Rebels offensively, each tallying two goals.
• Taylor Prigge leads the SEC in shutouts, totaling three. The Rebels rank in the national top-30 in shutout percentage, averaging .667.
