MOBILE, Ala. – South Alabama soccer will host Troy to open Sun Belt play at 7 p.m. CT on Thursday at The Cage in Mobile, Ala.
SERIES HISTORY:
South Alabama is 16-8-1 overall against Troy, with their last match a 1-0 Jaguar victory to end the 2025 regular season on Oct. 29. The Jags boast a seven-match winning streak over the Trojans.
SCOUTING THE JAGS (2-4-1):
- South Alabama hosts Troy after a 3-1 victory over Southeastern Louisiana on Sept. 6. Ava Arroyo and Victoria Rocci scored their first career goals.
- The Jags enter Sun Belt action after clinching four consecutive West Division Championships, with South having earned the top seed in last year's conference tournament.
- Aliya Gomes leads South Alabama in scoring, tallying three goals this season.
- The Jags have won eight consecutive home matches.
SCOUTING THE TROJANS (1-5-2):
- Troy travels to Mobile after a 3-3 draw against Alcorn on Sunday.
- Jake Wyman is in his first year at the helm, having spent the past eight seasons at Montevallo.
