MOBILE, Ala. – South Alabama Football will hold walk-on tryouts on Thursday, Aug. 27 at 4 p.m. CT at the Jaguar Training Center.
Prospective walk-ons must be enrolled full-time at the University of South Alabama and hold at least a 2.5 GPA in order to be eligible. They also need to have a physical done at the South Alabama Health Center and receive their Sickle Cell test results.
Documents Needed by Aug. 24 at 5 p.m. CT
-Copy of 2025 fall class schedule
-Verification of at least a 2.5 GPA
-Proof of insurance
-Complete the Medical Packet and have an up-to-date physical at the Student Health Center on campus
-Fill out Tryout Form
-Must bring sickle cell and medical packets to Andrew Burkett at Football Fieldhouse
- Tryout candidates must email all documents to Andrew Burkett at aburkett@southalabama.edu prior to tryouts.
