South Alabama Falls to #6 Crimson Tide on the Road

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – South Alabama soccer fell to #6 Alabama on Sunday, losing 3-0 at Alabama Soccer Stadium. 

SCORING MOMENTS:
  • 24' | Alabama's Maison Smith sent a left-footer into the bottom right of the goal, giving the Crimson Tide a 1-0 advantage.
  • 79' | The Crimson Tide's leading scorer, Larkin Thomason, scored on a penalty kick sent into the bottom left.
  • 80' | Thomason strikes again, sending a right-footer into the net.

KEY STATS:
  • Mackenzie Smith tallied a career-high 12 saves. The match marks the third time this season that Smith has tied or set a new career high.
  • The Jaguar attack totaled seven shots and three shots on goal – the second-most this season.
  • The Crimson Tide scored two goals in the last 12 minutes for the second consecutive match.
