MOBILE, Ala. – South Alabama soccer will travel to face #6 Alabama at 11 a.m. on Sunday at Alabama Soccer Stadium in Tuscaloosa, Ala.
SERIES HISTORY:
South Alabama is 1-10-0 overall against Alabama, with their last match a 2-4 deficit on March 21, 2021, in Tuscaloosa, Ala. The Crimson Tide boasts an eight-match winning streak over the Jags.
SCOUTING THE JAGS:
- South Alabama faces the Crimson Tide after a 1-1 draw with Samford on Sunday, Aug. 23. Andrea Lazar scored the Jags' lone goal, marking the Bulldogs' first goal allowed this season.
- Mackenzie Smith is off to a hot start between the pipes, ranking in the national top-25 in saves per game (6.67) and total saves (20).
- On Aug. 26, Sierra Giorgio was named to the MAC Hermann Trophy Watch List – the Jags' first honoree since 2023.
