HATTIESBURG, Miss. | Southern Miss scored five runs in the first and Kayla Girardina tossed a six-inning perfect game as the Golden Eagles walked South Alabama off in the sixth inning to take the 8-0 win Sunday and complete the series sweep at the Southern Miss Softball Complex.
With the loss, the Jaguars fall to 27-24 and 11-10 in Sun Belt play.

•   Southern Miss (33-20, 14-7 SBC) struck for five runs with two outs in the bottom of the first, as with the bases loaded, Abbi Troquille was hit by a pitch to plate the first run and one pitch later, Kinsley Gordon-Sivley recorded grand slam that was just out of reach of
