MOBILE, Ala. – Charleen Elizondo and Brady Keller each recorded personal-best performances to highlight South Alabama Track & Field's weekend, as the Jaguars competed against top competition in California while also turning in strong results at Southeastern Louisiana.
Elizondo delivered one of the top marks in program history on the women's side, placing 48th in the 1500 meters with a personal-best 4:28.96 to move into third all-time. She also finished 49th in the 5000 meters with a time of 16:54.82. Emily Miles added a 122nd-place finish in the 1500 meters, clocking 4:34.52.
Keller continued his strong season in the men's middle-distance events, placing 47th in the 800 meters with a personal-best 1:49.33, improving on his own fifth-place mark in program history.. He also recorded a 60th-place finish in the 1500 meters with a time of 3:44.47.
Jordan Morrison contributed in two events, placing 39th in the 800 meters with a time of 1:51.21 and 53rd in the 400 meters in 49.11.
At Southeastern Louisiana, Samuel Mika led the Jaguars with a victory in the discus, recording a throw of 51.43 meters.

South Alabama will return to action on April 24, traveling to Birmingham, Ala., to compete in the Samford Invitational.
