JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – South Alabama Men's Tennis fought its way back from a 3-1 deficit to take down North Florida, 4-3, Friday morning.
 
The victory improved South's record to 5-7 for the year.

NOTABLE

• The match against North Florida took two days after the match was postponed on Thursday due to rain. The match was even at 1-1 when it resumed Friday morning.
• South Alabama dropped the first-two singles matches of the day Friday before winning the next-three to clinch the match.
• Juan Accossatto, Jules Caby, Victor Frumholz and Harold van Raemdonck all bounced back from singles defeats with victories on Friday.

"Great win today. It was a little different because we started the match yesterday. Doubles didn't go our way at all, but we went into singles and had to refocus. We won five first sets but UNF if a really good team and they battled back. We came out this morning early and it was no longer a marathon, it was a race with so many matches already in the third set. We had so many guys come up clutch to help us clinch."
