Hannan Adds JUCO Standout to 2026-27 Class

MOBILE, Ala. - South Alabama men's golf head coach Ben Hannan signed junior college standout Easton Haworth, the program announced on Thursday.

The Janesville, Wis. native landed in Alabama to play his freshman and sophomore seasons at Central Alabama CC, where he stands at No. 13 in the NJCAA national rankings alongside No. 4 in the region rankings (via SCOREBOARD by Clippd).

Haworth carded a decorated stretch this season, highlighted by a tournament victory at the Southern Union Men's Invitational (72-71-70, -3). The sophomore has played 20 rounds to this point in his junior college career and marks a 70.8 scoring average with two top three finishes. The Bryan College Fall Invitational saw Haworth close out play in a second-place finish with a low round of 68, en route to a 212 tournament total after 54 holes.

"We are very excited to welcome Easton to the Jaguar Family next fall," shared Head Coach Ben Hannan, "Easton has a lot of talent and a big game that will transition nicely to DI golf.  He has a wealth of experience playing several events while at Central Alabama and has shown the ability to win and shoot under par. Easton will immediately add depth and all of his playing experience helps to round out a great class for 2026."

Haworth is the third signing Hannan has announced to make an impact in the 2026-27 season, as incoming freshmen Buddy Fleming and Michael Heaton inked letters of intent on National Signing Day in November, 2025.

The Jaguars will compete at its second tournament of the spring at the LA Classics, hosted by Louisiana, March 9-10.
