Notes You Need to Know

He ranks 11th nationally in free throws attempted (205) and 15th in field goals made, while sitting among the Top 40 in scoring. Harris scored 25+ points in each of the last four games and poured in 28 points in the past two games, including at Marshall, where he surpassed 2,000 career points across his time with the Jags, and NAIA stops at Life and Shawnee State.

  • With three games remaining in the regular season, South Alabama men's basketball is set to close out the year with three more home games at the Mitchell Center. The Jags face arch rival Troy today. • South Alabama is one of the premier defensive teams in the country, consistently setting the tone on that end of the floor.

  • The Jaguars have relied on controlling the paint all season and have outscored opponents 1008–556 in the interior. On the defensive end, South Alabama has forced teams to attempt 1098 three-pointers this season, with just 354 made. As a result, the Jags own the second-best field-goal percentage (46.8%) and best field-goal percentage defense (38.8%) in the Sun Belt.
