NOTABLE
  • Old Dominion improved to 8-4 all time against South Alabama with the victory.
  • Due to clinch/clinch scoring, one doubles match and three singles matches went unfinished on the day.
  • Juan Accossatto and Adam Bouyacoub trailed 4-5 in their doubles match before the match went unfinished. Jules Caby was tied 4-4 in the second set of his singles match for it was stopped.
QUOTABLE

"It was a very competitive match today. Doubles was high energy. We were right there. It was a heavyweight battle, which is always the case against Old Dominion. They always know we'll bring our A-game, and they do the same. It was a fun battle, but I felt they put constant pressure on us and we kind of went down a little bit and cracked. That made the difference. The good thing is we probably had about three guys who didn't play their best today, but competed extremely hard. We're just trying to improve every day."
