JONESBORO, Ark. – Trailing by 18 with 7:45 remaining, South Alabama mounted one of its most improbable rallies of the season, storming back to defeat Arkansas State 92–88 in overtime Saturday afternoon at First National Bank Arena. The Jaguars improve to 19–7 overall and 9–4 in Sun Belt play.

In the extra period, Randy Brady scored inside at the 4:46 mark to give South Alabama its first lead since early in the game, and Harris sealed the victory by knocking down four free throws in the final 1:38 to secure the 92–88 road win.
