Post-Race Quotes: Head Coach Parker Cowles
-
"It was a tough, hot day, but our team average was 20 seconds faster than last year." Parker Said. "Our freshmen and new additions are running well, and we're gaining ground on some very good Sun Belt teams, including Southern Miss and Arkansas State. We still have a long way to go, but there is a lot of young talent on this team, and these ladies need to continue being aggressive and pushing their development. The men have been training well, but we were underwhelming today. I do believe that if we can get healthy and rested, we can surprise some people at the Sun Belt Championships in two weeks. Recovery and consistency will be extremely important from here on out."
