Jaguars Dominate Blue Raiders in 4-0 Victory

MOBILE, Ala. – South Alabama Soccer dominated Middle Tennessee 4-0 on Thursday night at the Cage, the last goal being scored with two seconds left on the clock.

  • Aliya Gomes and Sofia Ferrante each ended the night with two assists and a goal. The goals marked Ferrante's first career goal and Gomes's first in the Red, White and Blue.
  • Sofia Ferrante now leads the Jags with in assists (four) and shots-on-goal (five).
  • Zamiyah Hill leads South in shots with 15 for the season.
  • Andrea Iljkic is the Jags' first multi-goal scorer of the season with two strikes.
  • Defender Amelia Campanella has played a full 90 in every game this season and is part of the back line that has only allowed two goals across four games.
