BATON ROUGE, La. – South Alabama Soccer fell to the LSU Tigers in the program's season opener on Thursday. The Jags lost 2-0.

KEY STATS:

• Jaidin Kinch had three saves against the Tigers. The saves were against Ida Hermannsdottir (two) and Ava Galligan (one), LSU's top offensive leaders last season.
• South's defense left the Tigers scoreless for 73 minutes.
• Four Jags played a full-90: Amelia Campanella, Bonnie Frost, K.J. Straub and freshman Victoria Rocci.

UP NEXT:
The Jags will compete in their first home match of the season against Tennessee Tech on Sunday, Aug. 17, at 11 a.m. CT.
