HATTIESBURG, Miss.- South Alabama got it done on the road Saturday morning as they blanked Southern Miss 4-0 in Hattiesburg.
The Jaguars got things rolling as
Delien Kleinhans and
Rio Maeda took down their opposition in a 6-3 final.
Manal Ennaciri and
Lara van der Merwe ultimately helped the Jags clinch the doubles point as the pair knocked off their competition in a 6-4 win.
South continued to excel as singles rolled around.
Jade Marie gave South their first singles point with a dominating 6-0, 6-2 win.
Delien Kleinhans followed with a convincing 6-1, 6-1 win to add more momentum to the Jaguars.
Kenza Elakili continues to shine in her freshman year as she gave the Jags the victory, downing her opponent 6-1, 6-0.
"Nice professional output today by the girls", said head coach Dr. Jaco Keyser. "They navigated some tricky conditions well and I definitely saw a team that will hopefully peak at the right time"

South will embark on their final road trip of the 2025 season as they travel to Monroe to face ULM next Saturday, April 12 at 10 AM.
