Box Score MONROE, La.- South Alabama dominated in their road finale, downing ULM 4-0 in Monroe. The win improves South to 13-5 on the season and improves their Sun Belt Record to 6-3.
South started out hot as
Delien Kleinhans and
Rio Maeda defeated their opposition in a 6-1 victory. This gave the Jags the doubles point as South won by forfeit in the #3 doubles spot.
The Jaguars took advantage of another forfeit win in the #6 singles as they continued to dominate.
Jade Marie earned a convincing 6-3, 6-1 win to extend South's lead.
Delien Kleinhans helped secure the win for South as she downed her opponent in a 6-4, 6-3 win.
"Good job by the girls today", said head coach Dr. Jaco Keyser. "We need to rest up and get some quality practice in this week in order to tie up some loose ends".
UP NEXT
South will wrap up their regular season as they host Arkansas State in Mobile next Saturday at 10:00 AM.
