MOBILE, Ala. | South Alabama women's golf team will send three individuals –
Flavia Tamburlini,
Grace Suter and
Katelyn Foster – to compete this week at the Bama Beach Bash hosted by UAB at the Gulf Shores Golf Club in Gulf Shores, Ala.
The three-day, 54-hole tournament is set to get underway on Sunday morning with the first group teeing off at 10:30 a.m. on the par 72, 6,002-yard course. Both Monday and Tuesday's second and third rounds will also start at 10:30 a.m. Live scoring link for each round will be available on USAJaguars.com.
The nine-team field includes 65 players from Albany, Eastern Kentucky, East Texas A&M, Georgia State, Iowa State, North Alabama, South Alabama, West Georgia and UNC-Ashville.
Tamburlini and Foster will be paired with Grace Sinclair (UAB) and Keeley Marz (Iowa State), who both are also competing as individuals, and tee off at 11:30 a.m. on Hole 1. Suter will be in the following group and tee off at 11:40 a.m. along with Ava Schwartz (UAB), Ragini Navet (Southern Miss) and Madison Kuratani (Albany).
The tournament will mark the second of the season for Tamburlini, while it will be the first for both Foster and Suter.
