MOBILE, Ala. – South Alabama Women's Basketball had a dominant win over Florida A&M on Sunday, 75-54. Today's result marked the end of a five-game homestand and moved the Jaguars to 6-1 heading into December.
KEY MOMENTS:
- Despite Tamara Ortiz going 2-3 from beyond the arc, South Alabama struggled in the first quarter, trailing 11-12 by the end. The Jaguars are 3-1 in games in which they have trailed after the first quarter.
- Toward the end of an explosive second quarter, Amyah Sutton stole a pass from half-court, sending a strike to Chrysta Narcisse for a made three-ball.
- Sutton continued her momentum into the third quarter, going 3-5 from the field. The third quarter proved to be South's best offensively, the team scoring a combined 24 points.
