FOLEY, Ala. | After helping South Alabama advance to the semifinal round of the Sun Belt Conference Championships,
Maradith O'Gorman was named to the all-tournament squad for her play Sunday following the conclusion of the championship match.
O'Gorman becomes the ninth Jaguar to receive the honor, joining former Jags Patricia Ingram, Christine Spikes, Kim Dalton, Ninette Encalade, Marie Lirette, Niki Capizzi,
Kailey Keeble and
Hannah Maddux, bringing the program's selection total to 12.
Playing in her final collegiate match, O'Gorman came two blocks shy of becoming the first Jag in ?? years to record a triple-double, as she finished the match against James Madison with 12 kills, 11 digs and eight total blocks – one solo and seven assists.
With her 12 kills, O'Gorman concludes her collegiate career with 703 kills, and with her eight blocks, she finishes at 261.
