MOBILE, Ala. – South Alabama Soccer earned the program's ninth shutout of the season against Texas State on Friday, both teams leaving The Cage with no points on the board.
KEY STATS:
- South Alabama held Texas State from scoring tonight, a feat none of the Bobcats' opponents have accomplished this season. Coming into tonight's match, Texas State ranked fifth in the nation in shot accuracy, 11th in assists per game, 13th in points per game and 16th in scoring offense.
- Sierra Giorgio recorded another clean sheet tonight, marking her seventh of the season and the Jags' ninth.
- The Jags recorded their best attendance of the season tonight, with 551 fans in the stands.
