MOBILE, Ala.- The South Alabama soccer team fell at home to 13th ranked Auburn 6-0.
The Jags competed well in the first half, playing stout defense and holding the opponents scoreless after one. Offensively, the Jags did well, creating several opportunities and playing aggressive.
At the start of the second half, the Tigers got hot, converting two goals in the first ten minutes to take the 2-0 lead. Despite the best efforts from South, Auburn would go on a run in which they netted four more goals as the half moved along. The Jags would unfortunately fall 6-0 to the Tigers.
