MOBILE, Ala. – The East-West Shrine Bowl has released its watch list for the 2024 season, and South Alabama defenders Wy'Kevious Thomas and Jaden Voisin were both named on the list.
 
Every year, approximately 1000 all-star game eligible players are drafted, signed after the draft, or attend a rookie mini-camp. The aim for the Shrine Bowl 1000 is to serve as a look into the scouting process, as well as begin to preview college players who are currently all-star game eligible for the 2024 East-West Shrine Bowl and 2024 NFL Draft class.
 
Voisin recorded a team-high four interceptions in 2023 to go with seven pass breakups. He finished fourth on the team in tackles with 66, 29 of which were solo takedowns. Voisin made two tackles for loss on the year, and forced one fumble. His efforts led to him being an All-SBC First Team selection. Thomas anchored South Alabama's defensive line in 2023 with 36 tackles. He recorded 2.5 tackles for loss on the season and one sack, which led to him earning All-SBC Third Team honors. 
 
The East-West Shrine Bowl is a best-in-class all-star event that will take place at AT&T Stadium in Arlington,TX on January 30, 2025. The players will be coached by NFL coaches, in an NFL facility, and will have access to NFL-level resources, facilities, player-friendly schedules, and opportunities at the highest level.
