MOBILE, Ala. – Four South Alabama men's basketball players have been named to the National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) Honors Court for their success in the classroom during the 2023-24 season. 

Elijah Ormiston, Isiah Gaiter, Maxwell Land, and Thomas Howell earned NABC Honors for either being a junior or senior with a GPA of 3.2 or higher after the 2023-24 academic year. 

This is the second straight year Howell has been selected to the Honors Court. He received these honors while playing at ULM in 2021-22. Howell also earned CSC Academic All-District honors this spring for a GPA above 3.5. 

Additionally, the Jags earned the Academic Team Excellence Award for having a team GPA of 3.0 or higher after the 2023-24 academic year.
