MOBILE, Ala. | With the regular season completed, South Alabama will open up postseason play this week at the Sun Belt Conference Championship held at the Lakewood Course in Point Clear, Ala.

The five-day event is set to get underway on Monday morning with the first tee times set for 8 a.m. on the par 72, 6,097-yard course. No. 13 South Alabama will take to the course with the second wave of the field at 8:45 am – 9:21 a.m. and be paired with No. 11 Marshall and No. 12 App State. The field will return Tuesday and Wednesday for two more 18-hole rounds beginning on holes one and 10 each day at 8 a.m. with tee times to be determined after each round.

The tournament will consist of three rounds over the course of the first three days, with the top four teams at the end of three rounds advancing to match play on Thursday; the semifinals will take place in the morning on the last day of the tournament, with the winners meeting in the afternoon to play for the championship and an automatic berth to an NCAA Regional.

Along with the Jags, the 13-team field includes App State, Arkansas State, Coastal Carolina, Georgia Southern, Georgia State, James Madison, Marshall, Old Dominion, Southern Miss, Texas State, Troy and ULM. 

Live scoring for the tournament will be provided at GolfStat.com, and can also be accessed through the Jaguar women's golf schedule page at USAJaguars.com. Each round will also be streamed on ESPN+.

Last season, South Alabama placed sixth at the event and was led by Carlota Garcia who tied for sixth and earned all-tournament honors. Cassidy Lambert also recorded a Top-20 finish as she tied for 16th with a three-round 224.

The Jaguar lineup will feature Malia Uyeshiro playing as the number one, followed by Grace Suter, Lambert, Elise Rilley and Hannah Ogea. 

Uyeshiro is averaging a team-low 76.8 strokes per round, while Suter (77.2) is close behind her. Lambert leads the team with 52 birdies this season, while Suter has recorded 42.
