South Alabama began to struggle in the opening minutes of the second quarter as the Cougars went on a fiery 16-2 run to take a 33-22 lead. South managed to make a dent in the lead with a

QUOTES
Head Coach
Yolisha Jackson on the result, "I think what College of Charleston does really well is they do really well. They rebound the ball and they get two feet in the paint to score and unfortunately tonight we did not gang rebound and keep them off the boards and we had a hard time guarding the drive. Dani was solid, she just got into foul trouble early. I was really proud of how
Chrysta Narcisse came in for the first time in her college career, I think that she did a really good job. We just have to find a way to limit our turnovers that are careless. We are going to turn it over, we just can't have careless turnovers. We also need to defend the paint and box out. We will be ready for Sunday.
UP NEXT
The Jags will close out their lengthy road trip as they take on Charleston Southern on Sunday.
