MOBILE, Ala. | South Alabama will open up postseason play this weekend versus Georgia Southern Friday night at 7 p.m. in the quarterfinal round of the Sun Belt Conference Championship held at the Foley Event Center.
South Alabama (15-11, 11-5 SBC) – seeded third in the West Division – enters the postseason after closing out the regular season with a series split with Coastal Carolina as both matches went five sets. Georgia Southern (20-5, 10-4 SC) also closed out the season with a series split at Louisiana, winning the opener (3-0) and falling (3-1) in the finale, and earned the second seed in the East Division.
Tickets may be purchased online through the Foley Sports Tourism Box Office, and are sold on a daily basis and are $10 per day for adults and $5 per day for children ages 12 and under. Students of Sun Belt Conference institutions are admitted free with a valid student ID.
