Carter Bradley Invited to 2024 Reese’s Senior Bowl

MOBILE, Ala. – Former South Alabama quarterback Carter Bradley has received an invitation to participate in the 2024 Reese's Senior Bowl, Executive Director Jim Nagy announced Saturday.

Bradley becomes the first Jaguar quarterback to ever be invited to the Senior Bowl, and the 11th South Alabama player all-time.

After joining South Alabama ahead of the 2022 season, Bradley went on to start all 24 games in which he played, going 16-8 in those contests. The Jacksonville, Fla. native completed 497 passes for 6,003 yards and 47 touchdowns for the Jags, against just 19 interceptions. Bradley also found the end zone three times on the ground.

Bradley holds single-season records at South Alabama in completions (276), pass attempts (427), passing yards (3,343), touchdown passes (28), total offense (3,393) and total touchdowns responsible for (30). All of which were accomplished during the 2022 season. He also holds career records in completions (497), pass attempts (753), passing yards (6,003), touchdown passes (47), 300-yard passing games (6), wins by a quarterback (16), total offense (6,012) and total touchdowns responsible for (51).

South Alabama's invitation to the 2023 68 Ventures Bowl marked the first time in program history the Jaguars earned back-to-back bowl bids. Bradley orchestrated the offense for USA to earn both those bowl invitations. He also became the only Jaguar quarterback to eclipse the 3,000-yard mark in program history, doing so in 2022 when he led the program to its first 10-win season since 2010.

Bradley has earned no shortage of recognition for his impressive list of accomplishments, as he was named to six-different preseason watch lists prior to the start of the 2023 season. Those lists include the Manning Award, Maxwell Award, Davey O'Brien Award, Wuerffel Award, Reese's Senior Bowl Watch List and Johnny Unitas Golden Arm Award. At the conclusion of the 2023 season, Bradley was invited to play in the Hula Bowl, and now caps his collegiate career with a Senior Bowl invitation.

The Reese's Senior Bowl will be played on Saturday, Feb. 3 at noon CT. The game will take place on South Alabama's home field at Hancock Whitney Stadium. The game will be televised on NFL Network.
