MOBILE, Ala. – The Jaguars return four midfielders from last year's roster and add five more for the 2023 season.
The Jags kick off the 2023 season Monday, August 7, when the host Samford for an exhibition at The Cage.

Gracie Wilson (Gr., 5-4) - Appeared in 18 matches, starting 12; scored two goals and recorded five assists; totaled six 90 minute matches

Sydney Ham (Sr., 5-5) – Made 11 starts as a junior; scored two goals and recorded one assist; started the final eight games of the season

Bonnie Frost (So., 5-5) – Appeared in 10 games as a freshman where she recorded two assists in the 5-0 win over Troy

Rebecca Calderoni Martinez (R-Jr., 5-3) – Appeared in 17 matches, starting five; Earned her first start as a Jaguar against Georgia State where she played a career-high 75 minutes
NEWCOMERS (5)

Irene Campo (Fr., 5-3) – Graduated from La Salle Santander in Spain; was called up by the Cantabrian Football Federation for a friendly match with the U-17 Cantabria Women's Team

Natalie Chapuran (Fr., 5-5) – Played varsity soccer five years at Huntsville High; Top goal scorer in eighth and ninth grade; named midfield MVP sophomore and junior seasons

Melina Descary – (So., 5-7) – Transfer from Florida State where she appeared in 10 matches as a freshman; member of the 2018 Canadian National Team

Cloey Uddenberg (Jr., 5-5) – Transfer from University of Guelph in Ontario; started all 20 matches she appeared in; totaled two goals; named Ontario University Athletes first-team All-State in 2021 and 2022

Emilie Lajmiri (Jr., 5-5) – Transfer from University of South Florida; appeared in 32 matches in two seasons; totaled two goals in two seasons

- Gracie Wilson played 110 minutes in both Sun Belt Conference games.
- Wilson is one game shy (83 matches played) of entering the program's top 10 list for career matches played.
- Wilson is ranked 8th in program history for career goals (23) and 5th in program history for game winning goals (9).
- Melina Descary, Cloey Uddenburg and Emilie Lajmiri are three of six transfers on the 2023 roster.
