MOBILE, Ala. – Coming off a 10-win season, one of the best seasons in program history, the South Alabama football program will begin preparation for the 2023 season as the Jags open fall camp Friday morning under third-year head coach
Kane Wommack.
The team will work out Friday and Saturday morning in helmets, and then shift to uppers the following two days, before going into full pads for the first time on Thursday, Aug. 10.Â
The Jags will go through three more weeks of camp before entering "Game Week" preparations on Aug. 28 for its season-opening match-up against Tulane, which is set for kickoff at 7 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 2 at Yulman Stadium.
All practices are held in the morning and are closed to the general public.
