MOBILE, Ala. – South Alabama women's soccer closed its preseason slate Saturday night at The Cage, battling Auburn to a 0-0 draw.
Auburn had a chance to take the lead right before halftime, but the time expired before the ball crossed the goal line.
Sophomore defender
Gabriela Angulo led the Jaguars in shots, totaling three on the night. The team had nine, while Auburn totaled 12. The Tigers were led by Olivia Woodson, who had three shots in the match.
Goalkeeper
Jaidy Gutierrez Campos had four saves on the night.
NOTES
- Only 14 Jags played in the match.
- Seven Jags played all 90 minutes.
- South Alabama went 0-1-1 in preseason scrimmages this fall.

South Alabama opens the regular season Thursday, Aug. 17 at Nicholls in the Lester Bimah Battle of the Bayou. Kickoff is set for 7 p.m.
